Bulk task imports allow you to add multiple content items under a project in one go as well as import tasks or line items from any other tool/platform you are working on.


For this, you will need to add all the items to a CSV file and upload the file to your workspace. 


How do bulk task imports work?

 

To import multiple content items/ tasks at once, go to the 'Create Content Item' tab under a Project and choose the option 'Create from CSV'.

 

Download the Sample CSV Template to get an idea of what fields need to be specified to correctly create new content items on Narrato. It is important that you follow the same format as shown in the sample CSV template for all the task details to appear correctly once added.



Details that you can add to the CSV file include -


  • Topic (required field, a new content item cannot be created without a topic)
  • Workflow Status (if not defined, default workflow status will be applied)
  • Assigned to (email ids separated by comma)
  • Due Date
  • Note to author 
  • Style guide (style guide names separated by commas)
  • Template
  • Keyword (in the format keyword/count, separated by commas)


 

Add all your content items, and update the CSV file with these details. 

Browse, select and upload the CSV file.

 

Now, all the items will automatically be added as new content tasks under the Project.
