Creating SEO content briefs from the content task page
You can also generate SEO content briefs directly from a content task.
Go to the 'Brief' tab on the left of the content editor and click on 'Generate SEO Brief'. The rest of the steps are the same as mentioned above.
The generated brief will automatically be linked to the task and be accessible on the 'Brief' tab.
On the task page, the dynamic updates on keyword counts will help writers optimize for keywords easily.
Linking SEO briefs to a content task
If you have generated the SEO brief from the main menu, to link it to a content task, you can click on the 'Create Task' button at the top of the brief. The new task will have all the SEO recommendations available on the Brief tab.
Adding to/modifying the SEO brief
You can also edit the recommendations or add to them if you need to.
Here's a quick video to show you how the SEO content briefs work.
Adding keywords without generating SEO content briefs
You can also add your own keywords to a content task without necessarily generating the SEO content brief. Keywords can be added at the time of the creation of a new content item manually or may be added to the CSV file in case of bulk task imports under a project.
These keywords will appear in the brief on the content task. You can still generate an SEO content brief after adding keywords to a task, in which case the new keywords generated will be added to the existing list.
Content SEO Score
The content SEO score is a visual scale that shows your content search engine optimization with a grade. The grading goes from C to A+ where C indicates poor SEO, A+ means great content SEO, and the other grades mean your content falls somewhere in between.
The content SEO score uses signals such as the topical relevance of the article, keyword optimization, readability, content length and structure to give you a content grade.
How does it work?
To use the content SEO score, generate an SEO brief for your content item, and the content score meter will become available on the Brief tab of the task page for you to benchmark your content against. You can always edit the content brief by clicking on the Edit icon next to "Brief" to ensure the SEO score has the right input to compute the score for.
